Get to know youngster Timur Shafiev, the powerhouse behind the deep house duo Going Deeper. Timur Shafiev aka Tim Shaft, his progressive house alias, has taken his talents to well-known Dutch label Big & Dirty and recently signed a worldwide publishing deal with indie publishers Strengholt, who have released big names such as Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Showtek and more.
Looking to make his mark in the EDM scene, Shaft’s newest release Funkenstein, incorporates all the booty-shaking beats, heart pounding bass and carries a groovy melody. He’s making his mark electronic dance music scene with his “progressive aggressive” style that combines heavy bass and funky melodies that take over the dance floor. Catching the attention of heavy hitters such as Martin Garrix and Hardwell, Tim Shaft was recently featured as the “Demo of the Week” on Hardwell’s on-air show and was also played during Martin Garrix radio show.
