ViqueVix aka Party Patrol as my friends know me. I’m taking over SoFla to explore, experience, and write about the Music, Culture, Dining, Fashion, Entertainment, and Nightlife of this GORGEOUS, ELECTRIC, NEVER sleep city as well as beyond the city limits!

I’m a University of Miami Alumni with a degree in Video/Film Communications and a minor in Music Business and Entertainment Entertainment Industries and a Master’s Degree in Sports Business also from UM – GO CANES!  I am now working towards a second Master’s Degree in Journalism and Media Communications from the University of Southern California.

I’m a former Entertainment TV producer for local and national networks such as NBC, beIN SPORTS, Telemundo, and Univision. In addition to my work in TV, I made my way to learn the ins and outs of marketing and radio promotions at iHeart Radio. I’ve pretty much dabbled in all forms of media and now focusing my skills to produce digital content in all forms both in front of the camera and behind.

As the previous nightlife editor for Miami.com, in 2021 I made my return to McClatchy as a writer for their experimentation team launching the Newcomers Guides and writing content for The Sum, Acesso USA, Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald. In addition to my editorial work I also work on social strategy and content development leading content and social media initiatives across the nation for LaMusica and SBS.

With a strong background in Media Entertainment Industries working in all areas from print, radio, TV, and film with local and international media brands such as Universal Music Group, MTV and MTV LATAM, Miami Herald, to name some. When I’m not writing about lifestyle, music, culture, and fabulous meals,  you can catch my weekly posts on Vocal where I dish on dating, relationships, parenthood, and being a proud independent Latina.

With a passion for the written word and if I’m not out covering current events, music festivals, searching for new artists, or playing super mom you’ll catch me hitting the gym, kicking back with friends, or running the show at my  Digital Marketing & PR Agency – ITM Media.

From event management to artist relations, I do it all and love it. I am a  Publicist, TV Producer, Event Host, Style Ambassador and self-taught Chef in the making. Oh and if I didn’t mention it before, I’m also an instructor at BeOnAir Media Schools teaching Digital Media. As I said, I love what I do!
