Giralda Under the Stars Brings Mardi Gras to Coral Gables

Can’t make it to New Orleans this year to celebrate Mardi Gras, no worries, head over to Coral Gables for a special Giralda Under the Stars on Friday, March 4th.  The Business Improvement District of Coral Gables is bringing Mardi Gras to South Florida starting at 7pm through midnight.

The Giralda Under the Stars series presented by Zacapa Rum is in its’ seventh season and invites guest to enjoy a night of dining al fresco on Restaurant Row, located on Giralda Avenue between Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Galiano Street.  The March 4th event will have a Mardi Gras theme where guests will enjoy live beats by DJ Steven B., the street decked out in Mardi Gras-themed décor, stilt walkers and dancers, a face painter, tons of beads and more to bring you right in to the celebration!

Diners will enjoy musical performances, entertainment and activities including a Cool Kids Corner that will host fun, kid-friendly activities and entertainment until 9 p.m..  Not sure what to eat; no problem! Attendees will have the opportunity to dine from over a dozen restaurants and bars located on Restaurant Row that will all set up tables and chairs on the street and have their culinary treats street-side bringing everyone together under the stars. 

Zacapa Rum will also be there  experience the award-winning blend of their ultra-premium rums, including Johnnie Walker.  It will be a night of festivities for the whole family!

Giralda Under the Stars occurs every first Friday of the month through April.  Reservations are highly recommended for participating restaurants.  Admission to this event is free and no tickets are required to enjoy the festivities and ambiance.
