Famed Miami Chef, Michelle Bernstein, is back for a second year! Michy’s Pop-up will be here for seven nights during the entire week of Art Basel. Chef Bernstein’s concepts offer a wide range of delicious options in the Botanical Garden, just across the street from the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Throughout the day, Art Basel attendees can grab a quick, healthy lunch at her Garden Cafe, or for something a bit more upscale, guests can make a dinner reservation at Chef Bernstein’s exclusive Michy’s Pop Up restaurant which is also available for private events for groups of six or more. Chef Bernstein will incorporate her signature South Floridian influence, utilizing freshly harvested ingredients and will offer a diverse selection of light and appetizing tapas, starters, plats de resistance and desserts including some distinguished dishes from her famed Michy’s restaurant in Miami’s MiMo district.
To quench your thirst after a day of art watching, enjoy a cocktail from the premium bar or have a glass of wine from impressive international wine list that has been paired perfectly to compliment the menu.
Reservations are a must for the restaurant, hours are:
Wednesday – Saturday, December 3rd – 6th from 6 – 11 p.m. in the Botanical Garden’s Banyan Room and its adjacent terrace.
The Garden Cafe is a bit more casual as guests will dine in the gardens while enjoying a light and healthy lunch. The diverse menu is comprised from locally sourced organic ingredients and includes tasty salads, sandwiches and special daily grilled dishes. Gourmet coffee and fresh baked pastries will be available and patrons can choose to be seated or grab a bite to go. No reservations are required.

Here are some of the items you’ll find on the menu this week at Michy’s Pop-Up:
- Starters: Bibb Lettuce Salad, crispy shallots, grapes, tomatoes, avocado, crispy onions, jalapeno Ranch ($18)
- Plats de Resistance: Braised Short Ribs, roast root vegetables, rib jus, shaved chayote salad ($38)
- Desserts: Michy’s Bread Pudding, raisins, cognac, chocolate chunks, orange rind, vanilla ice cream ($9)
- Tapas: Roasted butternut squash with sesame and pumpkin seed; Salt and pepper royal red shrimp with serranos; Jamón iberico de bellota
