After the party, it’s the after-party! InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish Ball is celebrating one of the biggest events of the year with a groovy after party paying homage to the disco era at the “Voyage Des Papillions” on Saturday, November 1st. The 7th annual InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish Ball Nightclub is the place to be this Saturday night! Get ready to embrace your inner Diana Ross in this one of a kind exclusive celebration starting at 10:30pm after the so-out ball and featuring a disco-infused runway show will be styled by Arel Ramos for Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour, with hair by Danny Jelaca Salon and makeup by O.P Studio, and will present the new collections of couture designers, such as Tom Ford, Pucci and Dolce & Gabbana.
The hip after-hours venue, the InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Nightclub, chaired by Ball Chairman Shareef Malnik along with Michael Capponi will have party-goers dancing until to 3 a.m. on the Mezzanine level of the Hotel, with Progressive beats provided by DJ Michelle Leshem and producer Sean Drake.
Just because you won’t be able to make it to the ball, doesn’t have to mean you’ll miss out on the party. Tickets for “Voyage des Papillions” are $100, which includes an unlimited open bar, are still available for purchase at https://hotelballafterparty2014.eventbrite.com, or by calling 954-967-9474 ext. 319.
Guests who will be at the ball will be asked to follow the yellow brick road to a magical “Oz”-themed celebration for the anniversary celebration complete with a performance by the legendary Diana Ross and hosted by celebrity emcee, actress/filmmaker Gabrielle Anwar, with a common goal of raising funds for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, to foster hope and to offer happiness from a single wish. What better reason to party then to party for a cause.
This year the InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball raised a record setting amount of more than $14 million to grant the wishes of over 3,000 children from South Florida. The 2013 event raised a record amount with the net revenue topping $2 million. The $1 million donation by Al Malnik and Nancy Malnik in 2012 remains the single highest donation of record.
From the décor, the entertainment, the food, there was no expense spared to create an unforgettable evening. Business from all over South Florida along with the thousands of man hours and production efforts from InterContinental® Miami made it possible to have this whimsical event that will not only enrich the lives of children, but will remind us all to have a little hope and to give back to our communities.
