It’s been almost a year in waiting and finally the suspense is over! Adoré Nightclub opened its doors on Tuesday, March 25th in the midst of one of the most exciting weeks of the year on South Beach. WMC 2014 was an epic adventure with amazing attractions all over and Las Vegas nightlife impresario Cy Waits took the opportunity to introduce the world to a new kind of nightlife experience.
In a city where new nightclubs seem to pop up every week, it’s hard to make an impression on Miami’s elite party-goers, but owner Cy Waits stepped up to the plate and brought a little Las Vegas to Miami with his new baby. Once you step inside you can see that there was absolutely no expense spared on the decor and design. From the entrance of the club to the bathrooms, you are surrounded by elegance and truly understand why their slogan is “Let us Adoré you”.
Adoré is located at the Boulan Hotel on Collins Avenue, right next to another club the One Lounge. From the outside you really have no idea what awaits you inside. Once inside, you’ll walk through a short corridor and then open the doors to be awed by the 12,000-square-foot cathedral-style ceilings and a decadent bar illuminated by dark red candles sets the mood for an evening of dark passion at Adoré.
Pass the bar, you open up to a large two story room with the and giant custom three-dimensional LED sphere in the center of the ceiling that shines right over the show-stopping DJ booth that is a floor-to-ceiling LED display showcasing video imagery and effects that are fully integrated into the control systems. The room is surrounded by luxurious custom seating booths with special hidden compartment for the ladies to store their purses and an added bonus of electrical outlets to keep your cell phones ready for your “selfies” all night long.
Owner Cy Waits is no rookie to the nightlife scene, he is the mastermind behind several of Las Vegas’ most sought after nightlife establishments including Tryst and XS and he brought a little bit of Sin City to Miami.
“What better place to open Adoré than in the most unique city in the world,” says Waits. “Adoré offers an intimate experience with a touch of exclusivity. We’re looking forward to making our mark on the Miami nightlife scene.”
The decor is not the only thing to rave about. Waits’ staff is simply fantastic. When you walk in to a club you expect to have good service, hot bottle waitresses and then you go and do your thing. That’s not the experience you will get at Adoré. The staff is extremely friendly, super sexy, and by the end of the night you end up feeling like you’ve been partying it up with one of your friends. The service doesn’t stop there, in the bathrooms ladies are offered a glass of champagne (all you have to do is tip), while waiting in line in the lavish white and gold adorned powder room.
In addition to looking great, the club has a killer sound system that allows you to get lost in the music without losing your voice while screaming to talk to someone you are with. Adoré features an elite sound system using the latest line by Funktion-One, the industry leader of premier nightclub audio systems. With over 100,000 watts of hi-fidelity power Miami’s elite will have all their senses titillated while letting go on the dance floor.
For the grand opening week Cy brought in some heavy hitters. He kicked off the grand opening with International super star DJ Morgan Page announcing his 2014 residency and rocking the decks alongside side Audien, Dubvision, Paris & Simo, Sandro Silva, and Walden for the MixMag WMC Event. The rest of the week included names such as Manufactured Superstars, Duck Sauce, Morten, Rebecca & Fiona, and a surprise performance by Busta Rhymes.
